Miley Cyrus Settles Twitter Rumors

Miley Cyrus decided to end using Twitter last week and immediately the rumor mill began and many felt that the reason behind her move was her rumored boyfriend, Liam Hensworth. Well, Miley has cleared the record and says that he has nothing to do with her departure from Twitter.

She had originally written about the most mundane events in her life on Twitter, but she has now decided to keep "my private life private." This shows some maturity on Miley's part as her consistent updates on Twitter could have ended up in bad press for her.

Long term, I feel Miley will have many years as a successful actress and singer. All teenagers go through bumps, however, sadly Miley's little bumps are highly publicized. Shame on all you rumor makers.....

Miley Cyrus Announces Fall 2009 Tour

Miley Cyrus has announced a phenomenal 43 city national tour for the Fall of 2009. This announcement comes soon after her MTV Movie Award for the Best Song from a Movie.

Her family will be with Miley on the Fall Tour. Her older brother, Trace Cyrus, and his band, Metro Station, will open all of Miley's shows.

Miley's tour will begin on September 14th in Portland, Oregon and continue state-to-state across the nation. Two night stands are scheduled for Newark, NJ (Nov. 7-8) and Long Island, NY (Nov. 18-19).

Hannah Montana, the Disney show where Miley Cyrus became famous has been signed on for a fourth season by Disney. Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley's dad, will continue as her "on TV" dad for a fourth year too!

Miley's recent single "Breakout" was at the top of the Billboard 200. She did this song without the co-name of Hannah Montana. Miss Cyrus also had a hit movie this year called "Hannah Montana: The Movie." This movie was a spin off of her extremely popular hit series "Hannah Montana" on the Disney Channel.

Time Magazine has named Miley one of 2008's 100 most influential people in the world. She has additional plans in the future to have a clothing line with Max Azria, a designer. This clothing line will be sold at Walmart and would include pants, tees, shoes, tops and accessories as described in an earlier press release.
